Round 4 City Makers has closed. Stayed tuned for details on the latest City Makers recipients for Round 4.
City Makers is a grant program that has supported the entrepreneurial and creative communities of our great city!
The grant program provided funds to help with building compliance issues including alterations to address accessibility, fire safety issues, heritage considerations and noise attenuation requirements including acoustic reports.
City Makers also provided funds for innovative and imaginative placemaking projects including public art, street furniture, events and other innovative activation concepts that encouraged community use and interaction in a positive way.
We have offered successful applicants grants of up to:
- $10,000 for building compliance related costs
- $7,500 for placemaking projects.
Applicants eligible for a City Makers grant included:
- sole traders
- registered businesses
- not-for-profit organisations
- community groups
Each grant application was assessed on its merits to determine eligibility and the amount of funding required for the project. Review our guidelines and our application form here. However, due to overwhelming demand for City Makers funding we will not be accepting any applications past 23 September 2017. Stay tuned for further information on Renewal SA grants.
